Hey all you Kauaian's former Kauaian's join our 35th Annual gathering on September 30, 2017, and is always held on the last Saturday of the month, in Long Beach.
Gemrig Park is just West of the 605 Freeway on Carson St behind Lowes and Walmart in the Long Beach Town Center.
Driving Directions:
Exit the 605 Freeway at Carson and head west. Merge to the far left lane and turn left at LB Towne Ctr/Libery Ctr the third light from the freeway (you'll see a Kauai Picnic Sign) turn right after Walmart but before Lowes and straight ahead follow the park fence to the left. The first drive on the right is the entrance to the event. If the small parking lot is full park somewhere nearby behind Lowes. And do not park in front of any of the gates or red zones and don't drive through any gates that could be locked behind you at any time. Remember, this is the Police Department Park and they own tow trucks.
The longest known gathering on the mainland for Kauaians by Kauaians. The internet might keeps us all connected but there's nothing like meeting people in person especially when they refer to Kauai as "Home."
You might see familiar names or faces or make new friends and talk about the "good old days."
Bring your own food and drinks. The West Side group under the pavilion are welcoming. Just join them with a pot luck dish to share. Coffee is free and so are the smiles.
All day live music and entertainment. Games for Kids and Adults. Plenty of elbow room if you forget to use deodorant.

Souvenir T-Shirts are preordered but there maybe a few available for sale. Presale orders pay for the park fees.
